If you have a Kindle Kindle owner or just want to get an idea of what all e-books are around, Amazon’s Kindle for PC can experience it on your desktop.
The installation is easy and will automatically sync with your Kindle and will apply to all Kindle files, which you put on your computer. If you read notes and bookmarks on your Kindle, they will be transferred to the reader on your computer. The interface is pure and very basic. There is a “Home” button that will take you to your library, which can bearranged by title, author or last.
You canalso buy books on Amazon, but a browser will open – there is no loaded Kindle in the application. Double-click a book and it opens. You can view the notes and bookmarks you have created and create new bookmarks (but not notes, etc.). There is a slider forchange the number of words per line, and you can change the font size. You can not change the font size. Manageability is easy with a keyboard or mouse.
One of the drawbacks of a desktop reader is that your screenmay not be as handy as reading aKindle screen. For this reason, it is unfortunate that the program does not have a special text version to make eye or contrast or brightness control easier. Emu Loader 8 The fact that you can not emphasize the notes or add notes makes this too basic.
AmazonView Kindle for PCis a functional eBook reader, but has no options and features to make it a truly niesuperlative application.
