Thunderbird is a desktop email client, an alternative to Microsoft Outlook, from the Firefox developer.
Thunderbird is the winner of Mozilla and a free solution to manage email more efficiently. And there are many advantages to change it as well. Unlike e-mail, for example, you can manage virtual identity and create flyer addresses and are widely regarded as one of the best spam filters in there. Recently, it has been updated with an interface with tabs, easier to manageyour email.
The fact that, likeFirefox, Mozilla Thunderbird can be upgraded with all kinds of extensions, making it a highly competitive email client. It is now much faster and more stable than ever because of the Gecko 5 engine.
Early
SetupMozilla Thunderbird is not painful. You can quickly import emails and contacts in your Outlook or Mail account and configure POP3, IMAP or SMTP accounts in one flash. To be well organized, Mozilla Thunderbird offers filtersto send emails to separate folders and inboxes. And, of course, there’s a built-in spell checker to make sure your mail is professionally managed.

What makes Mozilla ThunderbirdIt a bit strange is the fact that it comes with an integrated RSS reader. Currently, this is a bit outdated as many people use separate apps (or even Firefox) to follow RSS feeds but can be useful only to send emails and follow RSS feeds when writing emails.
Searchyour email
The search tool in Thunderbird is great and searcheshappen in real time when writing. Search results are displayed in a separate section. The page is generally a very important part of Thunderbird and, like Firefox, you can open multiple messages separately. This is a fantastic feature of Thunderbird even though I tried to open too many emails once. This file is also another useful feature for those who do not want to delete messages, however they arewant to remove a space in their inbox.
Then, what’s with the security? You might think that an open source email client is inherently less secure than payment, but Thunderbird is surprisingly safe with a pretty tough spam filter. The reason is that Thunderbird is updated and done by volunteers whose primary interest is making a better product than using the final product. The security update is normal but small so as not to slow down Thunderbird.
Support from the Exchange
Wrongone of the biggest selling points of Mozilla Thunderbird is offering compatibility with Microsoft Exchange, which means it will attract Office users who have previously thrown it away.
On the negative side, the app has no specific accuracy in a particular area. Thunderbird still does not have Gmail-style emails (though there are extensions, you can download them separately) and there are not many options for managing attachments and photos. There is no calendar but, again, these can be downloaded separately in the form of “Lightning”.
In general, Thunderbird is an excellent free alternative to Microsoft Outlook.
